Is She Really Wearing That?!

Well, it's Wednesday and I've had a busy, busy week so my What She Really Wore post is a day late.

It's been a busy week so far and next week is about the same, but let's back up to Young Living for a second.   If you were thinking of ordering something you can use my Link to save 15% off through April 30th.  Normally, it's 10% so you get a bit more this month.

I was working and apparently interrupting her nap.   I thought we should start off with a little Rouxby Sue!

Back to my Young Living segment:

If you order $100 or more you can check out the gifts for the month of April right on this link:
April Flyer     The Purification Oil is one of my must have oils!   If you cook any foods that have lingering orders, this one is for you.   Drop some in your diffuser and watch the icky smells just drift away.  You can bet I'm going to make sure I have $100 on my loyalty order this month.  If you have a good size order at $200, you can grab a Thieves Oil for free as well.  I think it's well documented all the glorious benefits of Thieves oil, it's definitely one I'm never out of.  And if you've got a much larger budget than I, you can add a bottle of Detoxyme in addition to the other two oils at the $300 mark.  Detoxyme used to be an everyday supplement for me and I'm not sure why I stopped but it's good, so I may have to add that back into my rotation.

Ok, let's get on with the clothing, you gotta run get your taxes filed, or paid in our case.  OUCH indeed.

Let's go back to last Thursday, April 8th.

#1- Morning Pj's- I'm going to continue to sing the praises of these pajamas but let's talk about the sweater first.  It was a chilly morning so I had on my trusty Barefoot Dreams sweater that I wear as a robe.  You can grab these during the Nordstrom Annual sale, in July, for a great price.  I have two and they are perfect for chilly mornings.
#2- I picked up these JoySpun pajamas at Christmas time. This particular color isn't available now but these pj's are so very good!  I'm in my usual size Small.
#3- Time to get dressed and I had to run to the UPS store to pick up a box that got returned. So I threw on that old Zelle skort that you've seen several times and a fun t-shirt that came from a little place in Louisiana called Fleurty Girl but she doesn't have them anymore.  It says Louisiana Charcuterie and you can see a similar one here.

Also,  I thought you should see the inside of those PJ's.

I know that picture is HUGE but the stitching says You Are Gorgeous and I think that's the sweetest.
Thanks JoySpun for the positive vibes!

Moving on....

#1- Thursday the 9th brings another pair of pj's that I love.  These were from a couple of years ago but they still have the pattern but it's blue instead of pink.    PrintFresh. These are 100% cotton poplin and get softer with each wash.  The pattern is called Hen House and I think they are just adorable, must like little Rouxby Sue who worms her way into my pics.
#2- you can see a close up of the pattern.  Also, these pajamas are NOT cheap, you will want to watch for a sale for sure.   Mine are a medium, because I bought them before I lost weight and while they are big now, they generally run a little on the small side, if you are between sizes, I'd size up.
#3- Now I had nowhere to be last Thursday so I popped on my trusty Wallyworld shorts that you've seen a hundred times already and a t-shirt from a Denton clean up day.   I did not end up going but the sweet Merebear got my shirt anyway for me.  Hubster went and helped out though.

Thursday was also Nuuly delivery day.  If you click that link, that's my referral code so you will get $30 off your first rental.      I have a specific way I deal with my rental clothing, I don't want it to get mixed up with my clothing so I hang it in a separate section of my closet.  It also helps me to remember to wear it more often since it will have to go back.

This month I got three pairs of shorts, 1 short sleeve top, 1 long sleeve top and 1 dress.

I probably should have grabbed a pair of jeans instead of so many shorts but I'm on the hunt for denim shorts so there's that.   Also, that super light wash pair on the far right....DEVINEEEEEE!!  I put them on and they are like that old pair of cutoffs that you've had for years and would never dream of giving up, except they are new and pricey but who knows, maybe Hubster will treat me to them if I stop finding projects for him in the yard.  ðŸ˜‚

This is the nifty little bag that your order comes packed in, it includes a return postage slip that you affix to the outside when it's time to send your clothing back.   I pop it on the shelf underneath the clothes so I know everything is right where it should be when it's time to return.

I'm not going to lie, I really would like to keep everything in this order, except maybe one pair of shorts.
It's a good order so we'll see how it goes.

#1- Last Friday I was running to the Botanical Gardens plant sale so I wanted to be comfy.
I wore my new shorts, Gap was having a really great sale so I ordered these denim shorts, size 26, I'd say they run true to size and they have a nice modest 5 inch inseam.   The t-shirt is the old one you've seen before from Boshamps in Destin.  I'm sure I put on some kind of tennis shoe before I left because you can't be going barefoot to the Botanical Gardens plant sale and grocery store.
#2- Another repeat, these are the Kut From the Kloth shorts (4) and my Chicago Cubs t-shirt.  I wore this on Sunday, we went to Sam's Club and the neighbors house for dinner, kind of a lazy day.
#3- Monday, 13th, I had a class at 3pm.  Today's class was Bucket List books and we talked about the Book of Ruth.  I love discussing books of the Bible as literature so it was a good class.  But the weather cooled a bit so I popped on a pair of pants that Hubster can't stand. hahahaha.   These are from last fall at the Gap but they are still available.   These are a Small and I really need the XS in them but I continue to wear them because they are lightweight and comfy as all get out!    My T-shirt was from last years Target/Kate Spade collaboration.   It's a size small, and I have worn the bejesus outta of this.   In case you can't read it, it says, Champagne & French Fries and that's a fact!   I finished it off with my old but good, Birkenstock clogs. I don't think they make this color anymore, it's a deep maroon.

My class wasn't until Monday afternoon so I initially had this on before I left the house.

Also, I didn't intentionally chop my head off in the picture but my hair was wet.

So you might think this is the same old skort you've seen a hundred times but it is in fact a new one.  I got this one from Amazon as part of their Vine program.   (meaning I didn't pay for it in exchange for a review-which also means I can't return it) This is a Small and I'm telling you, order up.  It's not uncomfortable snug, it just runs small and that was noted in several reviews.  It's just tight enough to show all the bumps and lumps so save your ego and order a size up.   This is the Red color.   The t-shirt is also from last year, Target and I had to grab a pic of the graphics, the top right is the back and the small lower right is the front.  We've already established my love of a good hot dog!

Aaaannddd Finally;

#1- Tuesday the 14th.   I had my first Kings of France class and it was a bit humid out so I grabbed my shorts from Sanctuary, I grabbed these last year from Evereve. This color is Ultrapale and I don't think it's available in that color any longer.   These are a 26 and I've got plenty of room, I also have these in white. They are a good basic twill short but they do run big, I could honestly drop to a 25 in these.   The shirt is from my Nuuly rental, it's the same Pilcro shirt from last month just a different color.  If this one was priced as well as the one I had last month I'd keep it but it's not so maybe I'll just rent it again and see if the price goes down.  The size is small and it's true to size, although it barely tucks in so it is a bit cropped.
#2- We are finally at today and I had an acupuncture appointment.  You always want to be in loose comfy clothing, I try to wear shorts or a skort as often as possible so my lower legs are readily available.
This is the 32 degrees skort (XS) that I picked up at Costco and my old Nirvana t-shirt, that you've also seen before.  I have the t-shirt knotted with a hair tie and tucked under.  My sandals are my silver Birkenstocks.  I've had them a few years and they go with everything.   Metallics are a neutral, go for the fun silver or gold shoe, you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Well, that's finally a wrap and with me having to leave the house so often, at least most of my clothing choices are quite so embarrassing.  I have a Gardening group event tomorrow, class on Friday and every day but one next week so you'll be seeing all those rental clothes before long as long as the weather stays warm, I have a feeling I'm really going to wish I added a pair of jeans in that rental order.

I better run get some work done before it's dinner time!

Peace, Love, and Hot Dogs
Samma
